Camping Au Vert de L' Authie, accueil camping-car, piscine, étang de pêche ,bar brasserie

"The campsite is nice, set on a river surrounded by fields, the toilets were clean and showers were hot. The owner was very helpful however her daughter didnt seem the most approachable and often seemed in a bad mood. The pool was nice and a good temperature, the site also has a large bouncy castle however some nights this was took over by groups of older teenagers which meant the smaller kids had to come off. The bar and restaurant were standard, food was reasonable and fairly priced. The 'shop' isnt much of a shop its more like 3 shelves within the reception area, fortunately there is another town 5 minutes drive away with cafes/bars and an aldi store. We met another family that came for afew days fishing and they were disappointed at the size of the fishing lake and the one day they wanted to go fishing the lake was shut.|The most disappointing thing about this site is the fact they advertise entertainment thats aimed at kids/families but it was just a kareoke which was on one night out of the week. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but they seem to advertise more than they actually have such as a shop and entertainment which was a bit disappointing. We probably wouldn't come back to this site but its not a bad campsite for the price and you can see the owner tries hard to look after the guests."

"We camped here for 2nights. Unfortunately while we were asleep our LOCKED motirhome was entered and our bag containing Laptop, tablet, INR machine plus many more items were stolen. Site was sympathic but not did not do anything. We were moving on towards Vendee & rang 17 for police who were very unhelpful. Be aware if camping here."

"Everything was wonderful.Severine was very helpful and a joy to deal with, The place is clean safe and quiet. It is perfect for families. The mobile homes are clean and modern. The pool was warm and lovely. The two resident dogs are very friendly and are quite heavy when they sit on your foot."

"Fantastic campsite stayed in our motorhome good size pitch , great facilities ie covered pool ,washrooms and toilets immaculate, nice bar and food , lovely staff thanks for your hospitality see you again"

"What was good: the owner was friendly.||||The rest was bad unfortunately, the whole place did not seem to be prepared for guests although it is officially open from March 1th. The sanitary unit was not even a bit cleaned, and it was cold as ice. In fact it was so cold and wet that even the toilet paper got wet over night! We were not offered a place to wash our dishes so we had to do it in the tiny one in the sanitary unit.||The small village around the place was kind of desolate, for example there was a dead cat lying on the pavement and a red plastic chair floated in a small creek. ||We really cannot recommend this camping spot! :-("
